Klonopin (clonazepam) lasts over 12 hours. Moreover, Klonopin is available in sublingual wafers that dissolve instantly under your tounge, allowing instant access to the bloodstream, making them the fastes benzo I know of. They are available in .125, .250, and .5mg wafers to the best of my knowledge, whereas klonopin tablets are available from .5 to 2mg tablets.

Basically it (liquid xanax) was supposed to be 2mg, and it was ending up something like 20mg.
Now combine it with these elements :
Straight guy "well known around town"
Passed out in homo (albeit a damn sexy one) hot tub / pool
Wife was told he was working late
Because of who he was, paramedics could not be called
ended up staying all night and couldn't tell his wife the next morning where he was or who he was with (see damn sexy homo statement above)
ended up filing a false police report to cover his ass
I can tell you this, if it were not for Spongebob and BB being online that night I would have freaked the fuck out. I couldn't call my partner because how the hell was I going to explain being in a hot tub with another naked guy who had been using drugs at MY house that were sent to ME?

I don't take it to sleep. What's worth taking if your just gonna fall asleep and not enjoy it? Ambien gives a nice, floaty feeling with Merlot. There is NEVER a reason that paramedics can not be called. It's a benzo... hard to compare to other classes of drugs, really. If it makes any sense to you, consider them a 'light' version of barbituates (however, very few people have actually experienced barbituates, so it's usually a moot analogy.)
Better off skimming Bluelight or something for a number of different responses to get more of a whole-picture idea.

BTW, never mix benzo's with alcohol. Two downers simultaneously = wicked synergism that's rather dangerous. Not like cocaethylene, but in a purely 1+1=5 kinda way.
