My mom emailed me about 200 addresses for mailing thank u cards and I deleted it because I thought it was junk mail. . I called her to resend it but she no longer has the list. I guess it took her over a month to get all of the addys for me. Any neat lil' computer trick for me to get my junk mail after I have already hit delete? I hate pissing off my mother. I have a hard enough time dealing with her when she's not pissed.

You could always take a screwdriver to the thing and see if they are hiding somewhere inside.

If you emptied your trash I don't think you can recover it.

Why would she clear her boxes twice a week when they can hold thousands of messages?

You can check your trash folder; it might still be in there if your deleted mail goes there instead of completely gone.

If that fails, then you might be able to have some tech examine your hard drive if it's that urgent. The better option would be to scold your mom for premature message deletions.

I have 4 email services but this one was to hotmail. She sent it from an aol.
My mom does tons on her computer all day. She wouldn't consider anything she sent to me as important.

Since it's hotmail checking your hard drive isn't gonna do anything. The only chance you have is checking your deleted items folder as anything you delete goes there. If you emptied that you are SOL

Easy, have her go to her sent messages in AOL's shitty email. I bet it's sitting in there and she can forward it out to you again. I do that shit all the time.
