I think Ephedra is dangerous. Sure can be helpful if used in moderation and smartly. Never used the stuff myself. Don't like that kind of undo stress on my heart. Trying to cut out the Caffine for the same reason.

This is simply more fodder for the trial lawyers, who are already drooling at the mouth for a shot at ephedrine containing compounds.

I must admit that I feel that this whole "attack the supplement industry" is somewhat conspiratorial, not in the true sense of the word, but more to the effect that agencies like the FDA have an agenda against this industry. Drugs like acetaminophen have killed more children and adults, than any ten dietary supplements, but you will never see this drug pulled from the market or sued out of existance.

I know of a pro-bodybuilder who has lost 25% of his heart---3 diff--doctors told him it was because of his years of ephedra use(over 10+years straight)

of course this same guy was using all other sorts of stuff for some time also---so who really is to say---

but stimulents over periods of years can't be good for anyone----esp. if you have heart disease in your family.....-----

it may be safe for some but will diff----be deadly down the road for the abusers----it doesnt take a genius to figure that out...peace
