Offroading fun

i like to go out and tool around offroad occasionally. not driving anything special....a 91 S-10 Blazer, bone stock, with 163K miles on it.

didn't go looking for mud today because i was having some problems with the 4wd. disengaged it after the hill climb and went a few miles down the gravel road out there, then put it back in and went down an easy trail. it didn't engage again until we were almost back out on the gravel road. i'm about 99% positive i know what the problem is....vaccum line from the transfer case to the front differential is clogged. gotta get under there this weekend and clean it out.

can't seem to find the other pics i have of post offroading adventures where i had that rustbucket covered in mud. guess that means i just have to go play some more.

who else got offroading adventures? post up some pics.

ok, so i'm using a composer program to create html pages.....and it seems to work ok, right? well, it's not. the page works for me, but when i check the image properties, it's linking back to my computer to pull the images....for some reason it's not actually putting the images into the composer page like it's SUPPOSED to when it's created.

i'll get this shit figured out eventually. just pisses me the hell off.

I wish I had a scanner. I have photos of my jeep covered in mud. The worst part is washing it afterward, it takes like $10 to get it clean and looks like a dinosaur took a shit under your car.

i can't figure this shit out. fuckin program is a piece of shit.

if someone can see those images, lemme know, although i doubt anyone's gonna see 'em.

Say you wrote a link page, called links.html on your hard drive, saved as c:\homepage\links.html (on a Windows PC, or similarly on other operating systems). Then you decide to link it from index.html as c:\homepage\links.html. You browse your files on your hard drive, and the link works fine. Then you upload it to the web, and get one of your friends to try. When they click the link, they will get an error saying "File Not Found"! Why? Because there is no c:\homepage\links.html on their hard drive!

When you're starting out, don't use directories. Just save both HTML and graphics in the same directory. If you are trying to link or load a file (discussed later) called taco.jpg, just use taco.jpg, not c:\homepage\taco.jpg or the like. Your finished HTML file should never mention your hard drive's letter (or name).

i've done this before w/out problem. i've used netscape composer and i believe internet explorer as well, can't remember.

this time i'm using Mozilla Composer. i'm not running windows.

every other time i've used a composer program, i've inserted the images into the composer page, then uploaded the page, and the images were there, no problem. pages worked.

for some reason, this program doesn't want to work like that. either that or i havn't found how to tweak it to do that yet, although i've been through the options

just pisses me off. shit should be working no problem.
