I started taking ALA on Sunday and I've made some observations both in the gym and outside the gym that I'm willing to bet can be attributed to the ALA.
Depending on the size of my meal with respect to carbs, I've been taking between 600-900mg of ALA with each meal. I've been doing this about 3 times per day, so at the end of the day I've taken between 1800-2700mg of ALA.
Some of the observations I've made in the gym include increased muscle hardness and density immediately after each set. I've also noticed that it's not as easy to experience muscle fatigue during reps as it was before I was taking ALA. This is a good thing because it allows me to maintain better form while increasing the weight between sets, which of course means that I'm making progress.
Some of the observations I've made outside the gym were not so desirable. On Monday, I took a piss in the morning while at work and immediately noticed a terrible smell in the bathroom. At first I thought the janitor forgot to clean up from the night before and left a bottle of bleach or ammonia in the room without the cap screwed on. Then I realized the smell was coming from the bowl! Man, it smells terrible. I stopped for a moment and thought about how embarassing it might be if someone walked into the bathroom before I got a chance to flush my toxic piss. I took a good look at the toxic smelly crap and quickly flushed it before anyone walked it.
Anyway, I'd like to know from other people if they have experienced the same *desirable* affects of ALA. I dont want to hear about your smelly piss, thanks
