I hope he's atheist....and one day just comes out and say's I"m dictator for life, suck it bitches. Then I'm going to move to another country and sit back and laugh.

We really need to disband the federal govt. and go back to states. It just doens't work. Of course way too many white hayseeds in this country feel like it's our god directorate to have the worlds most powerful army so we can point at people and tell em what to do.....yeah that never works out in the long run does it, .

IMO, He seems shady because he tries to please everyone by riding the fence. The right attacks him for mentioning Muslims/Hindus/non-believers as citizens and the left attacks him for supporting the Bush faith based initiatives. His most recent town hall where he was called out by a supporter for not being transformational,like he promised, just bears it out.

It won't happen in the foreseeable future, religious tests are forbidden for political office by the government but the electorate demands it. If you look at the polls, a gay Muslim has a better chance of being elected president over an atheist. If you look at the rates of atheism,agnostic/non-religious among the general population and those with college degrees there are a hell of a lot of closet atheists serving in elected office. There is one admitted agnostic serving in congress and he's a California representative...of course.
