Of course I know most people quietly slide from the left to the right during their age 18-40

This is not an argument for either side imo

There are a lot of young people, yes. There are also a lot of uneducated people, poor people and minorities. All of these groups happen to be big supporters of the Democratic party. Not talking trash, just pointing out a fact.

You forgot to mention intellectual thinkers. The smartest of the smart do not support the neanderthalic Republican party. Just pointing out a fact.

This is a very common discussion. Many professors are democrat, but educated society is not limited to only professors. I'll agree that the education system is largely liberal, but there are many factors that play into this. Two of course being salary, and school funding.

Someone once said,

"If you are not a democrat in your 20's, you have no heart;
If you are not a republican in your 30's, you have no brain."

I like it. Kind of catchy.

Trust me man, I've seen it time and again.

Hippies and Euro-trach college students love being altruistic and idealistic in college. But once they get out in the world and start paying taxes, the wisen up.... or move to Berkeley.
