Numb Feet

Anyone else in here get numb feet when on the elliptical trainer for extended periods of time? At about half an hour my feet just go completely numb and as much as I wiggle them it won't go away. Is it bad to just keep on going and is there anyway I can prevent it from happening?

Sounds like a problem with your shoes. How old are they? Are they in good shape? And most important, how do they fit?

I am notorious about hanging onto my shoes longer than I should. I notice a huge difference when ever I get new shoes. Like I did today. :)

Mine are only like 6 months old - which is about as long as I keep any pair. It doesn't seem to matter how long I've had them and it only happens on the elliptical. When I run or do stairs my feet are pretty much fine....well one has been broken for the past 13 years, so it hurts a bit - but I've learned to ignore that pain.
