You're so perceptive, HELL yes there is distress in my posts. this comes from knowing that out of the thousand or so US nudists that I have met in my lifetime, not one of them hasn't been a complete weirdo. Case and point:

People do the nude thing in Europe because it's their culture and is excepted. People do the nude thing in the US because they want to be outcasts and rebel against society as a whole, an extreme midlife crisis. I am in no way saying that this applies to all of them but certainly to all that I have come into contact with and am speculating the majority.

Some nudists are weirdos. So are a lot of other people. Hell, half of the people here, including myself, are off their rocker.

In Europe it is perfectly normal to be nude. We are talking about the human body! What could be more natural than being nude.

yup, in Europe; viewpoints and mentality are a bit different in the states though don't you think?

It's truly unfortunate that your experiences were so negative. Perhaps if you traveled outside the US you would see that *those wierdos* shouldn't be allowed to have power over YOUR thoughts?

As I said, you are free to think and do as you choose. Just please don't judge those of us who don't have those same hang-ups with the same harshness and dirtiness as we have NOT ALLOWED such dirtiness to infiltrate our thoughts... And who would know better than me.

I remember reading somewhere that A LOT of people engage in this behavior.

Dunno what to think about it. I mean could such a practise possibly have any benefit? I mean, it is your body's waste for a reason, no?

I'm sorry but I will continue to judge nudists since everyone I've ever met has been a weirdo. Our opinions are usually a direct result of personal experiences right?

My sister went back in the day with her gf's, dopey college kids that they were LOL. She described it much like the others did before me, nothing wierd or sexual. She said it was wierd though to see guys with their winkies just floating freely in the water.

I've never been and have no desire to.

I have no qualms about being naked in front of other people or about being nude period. Matter of fact I HATE to wear a swimsuit in my own pool, won't do it unless we have company. It is just that I have ZERO DESIRE to anyone else (who is not my husband) naked. He could have the body of a god and still I would be embarrassed and feel *icky*.

I really don't want to see anyone else nekkid... that would creep me out.

Not women... I have zero issue with nekkid women. I just have NO DESIRE to see nekkid men. I mean NONE.
