NSA hacked into the U.N

NSA: You're damned right I did!

This should be expected when on our soil in NY. I don't find this surprising in the least.

It kind of defeated the purpose of the U.N. I'm not surprised that we're spying even on our friends, i'm just surprised we have no regard for neutral space like the U.N. Again I could maybe understand hacking into the audio/video of people we were in conflict or at war with, but not our friends. It's super sketchy, but now we know why they're ultra pissed with Snowden and want his ngr ass back in town. This is super embarrassing stuff and there might be a lot more to follow. Another german newspaper is accusing MS of putting an NSA backdoor into windows 8. <---- lols

They wrote the whole thing off as QA testing for the new Xbox One audio/visual queues for auto on/off functionality. They built it into the new AV software at the UN, which the UN purchased from Microsoft and the IT guy agreed to the ToS at every install so we technically did nothing wrong?

The operation "Special Collection Service" is something we see all the time from these guys, how many installs have you done and seen - "Help Microsoft/Apple/Cisco/Whomever improve their product by periodically sending them data to improve quality assurance".

I'm sure it's as easy as that...

I'm not the least bit surprised.

And I don't blame them the government for doing it, since Americans just keep shoveling more money into the government. Look at it from their perspective: Every time they do something horrible, we just write them a bigger check.
