^^^true that. a 555lb deadlift is quite impressive, but to be able to lift a smooth stone which (obviously) has no handles or anything to grip is an unbelievable feat of strength.

Believe it or not stones are not that bad. Once you get up around 340 and have to grip real wide diameter stones it gets hard. It's just technique and brute strength.

Yeah i guess the contest was a 360 stone for max height. That was nuts though, the guy in the vid (tom mcclure) is like 6'5''!!!! He is fucking immense in person, ive met him quite a few times since he is only in CT.

Derek Poundstone with the 555lbs. Stone. Thats a true beast right there. thats truley amazing. especially from recovering from a serious back injury years ago, he was told he might never be able to lift again, and years later hes deadlifting 800+ and doing stones that weight as much as ATV's. haha good for him, hes a great athlete, along with the others.
