now im really getting nervous

ive done a good number of delt shots befpre...some more painful then others....last tuesday i did 2cc of cyp in my delt...sterile as normal bla bla....


2-3 days after most of the front part of my upper arm, bicep some tricep and a little bit of the brachialus(sp)was red and swollen... real tight


it hurts like a bitch but ive been massaging it and its helped out alot...

but now its centralized into a red bump about the size of a dime 3 inches below where i shot it in my delt....


its improving in that: pain,heat and redness have all been reduced siugnifgantly....., but the slight lump developing is whats got me worried


my good bro told me everything is cool, it just helps for re-assuyrance to hear from you good bros what ur expierences were

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's "cool" yet. Until that lump is gone you're gonna have to decide whether or not to see a Dr to have it lanced,drained, antibiotic injections and oral anti-bs administered. If you don't have insurance, an urgent care center will charge you around $300 for the treatment/meds to get you right again. Pay close attention to the lump. If it shrinks when you ice it and grows back everytime you stop, that's not a good sign. If you feel dizzy, feverish or sick, you waited too long to see a Dr. and you need to go to the ER asap. You may have a Staph infection-which will fuck you up good-possibly even be fatal!!! I know guys that have had baseball sized chunks of dead tissue removed from their ass where the couldn't sit anywhere comfortably for 6 months. I know another guy that was in the hospital almost a month and lost 40lbs from a bad injection.

We can all be as be as careful as possible with our injections and still be susceptible. Obviously the more shots you take over time the more likely you'll wind up getting a bad one. However when you've probably stabbed yourself 1000+ times in the past and you only get 1 abcess you're doing pretty good. I had one in my tricep from an old school synthol formula. The Dr lanced it and drained 50 cc's from it. It looked like I had a 50 cc bottle of EQ under my skin.

been heating it and massaging it every night... its got much much much better in that time....still a little bump, but little to no tightness or redness

Ditto, same EXACT thing for me shooting BD gear in my delt. I didn't stop training even though it was swollen and sore and it got real bad. After 10-12 days it went away but actually left a permanent bruise on my right arm. Was it BD gear?

stick to 25g 5/8" for delts, and never more than 1.5cc at a time, preferably only 1cc. If you're going to shoot larger amounts, go for the quads.

you got it my man....no it wasnt BD, it wasnt the gear that was the problem, it was taking 2cc and not rubbing it like i should...but with some 750 injections ur bound to have one or two toughies
