Now illegal to boycott Israel In USA

look at this link for further evidence of collaboration between the 2 governments. This imagery is disturbing.

I believe the Iraqi war had really nothing to do with oil, or weapons of mass destruction, or even liberating the iraqi's from a dictator, but rather to further secure the existance of the state of Isreal.

The article is being grossly misunderstood and placed out of context. The article points out that the CD (implemented by the BIS) is limiting companies’ abilities to use racial standards as a means for boycotts. There is a need for resolution in the middle-east and another poor rouge nation w/ a nuclear weapon will not bring that. This is one of the quotes usually taken out of context by my students with the same article: "The U.S. Government stands firm in its policy of opposing restrictive trade practices or boycotts against Israel.” On one hand the title of the post is “Now illegal to boycott Israel In USA”, yet on the other hand the reality is not that the PEOPLE cannot enforce their 1st amendment rights but that the businesses that are hurting chances of possible peace in the region should be disciplined for boycott movements.

After spending many year in commerce, I have learned that instances like this happen all the time. For example, in the 40’s-70’s it was ILLEGAL to boycott Japan, Germany and Italy, same is happening now. It’s a policy of the U.S. government that is not usually released in the mainstream media, that’s why most people are morbidly appalled by it. Trust me guys, it’s been happening to Anglo countries in Europe for over a hundred years....

There is no misunderstanding. If someone wants to buy my product and they want assurance that none of my products are made in Israel or are affiliated with any company that does business with Israel then I cannot sell my product to them or I will get sued or fined.

That is infringing on my rights as a business to sell my products to whomever I choose. That means that I cannot even sell my products to someone who boycotts Israel. That is even worse than the title of this thread. It means that it is illegal for me to even do business with people who boycott Israel. How much worse could it get?

This is not about mid-east foreign relations. This is about economic freedoms.
