Not The Black Mans War?

I keep seeing interviews with people on tv about the war. I heard quite a few african americans say "it's not the black mans war" this saying seems to come up a lot with issues such as these. what's the deal? they are americans!! what the hell does "not the black mans war" mean? this is a honest question, not raciest what so ever, what's the deal?

There is a perception from some in the African American community that mostly Black or African Americans will die in this war! Urban Legend bad info, stating that most front line troops will be Black or African Americans! A lot of this stems from the Vietnam War! And we don't have much of a history of going into Africa to help against genocide there! So that is why many feel that way!

About 20 percent of the military is black according to NPR, higher than average per capita as blacks make up something like 11 percent of the total pop.. I just wish they would stop separating themselves so much...but then again maybe in many ways it is the only way for them to feel their voices are heard
