Not even Daimler Mercedes Benz Corp. save Chrysler

Being that I worked there for 12 years, I disagree - before AND after the merger.......Chrysler was run horribly with horrible management & policies, etc....

There were 3 or 4 people who left or were forced out after the merger that are credited with being largely responsible for the profits that made Chrysler look attractive to Daimler in the first place. I dont know anything about the general management of the company.

I'm assuming from your response you'll want those names and their respective contributions. I'll look it up again when I get home tonight.

I probably already know/knew the names, but since I no longer work there, I don't really care at this point who they were/are. I heard lots of stories about how they got let go too, so I know the behind-the-scenes stuff.....

All I know is that DB was a great company until the merger and shacking up with Chrysler made it into a petty/BS-filled hell with all of Chrysler's BS policies & procedures that drug the entire company down with all the time wasted & unnecessary $$$ spent on BS computer programs & systems that weren't necessary....

Glad to see the merger ended, it was a bad decision from the beginning....
