Not doing a PCT?

alright no one crucify me for this. Research and informational purposes only.

Obviously everyone here is going to recommend doing a PCT.

There is a professional bodybuilder at my gym who gets paid to be big. He has kind of taken me under his wing, according to him it is best NOT to do Any sort of PCT. and only to keep an AI on hand incase of Gyno. He says it is the best way to keep your gains, you feel like shit for a couple weeks but you will keep your gains mostly. This was backed up by another guy who has done this and said he kept way more gains by not doing a PCT than when he had done one prior.

Once again... This thread is for information lol. Please don't kill me.

Ask them the last time they had any bloodwork done and what their test levels are when they are off cycle...that would answer all questions.

I know he gets blood work done pretty often. I think his theory behind it is that your natural test levels can't hold onto the muscle you build... So the quicker you kick natural test back into production, the quicker you lose it

This is probably the most retarded theory I have ever heard of.

So you think having no test at all makes it easier to keep gains then having natural test. That Is why we pct so that we can get our natural test back up as fast as we can so we can try to bridge the gap in training intensity and the mind body conection.

Think of it like this. You are on cycle and you are training like a beast and all of your lifts have gone up like crazy and you have made some really good gains. Then you go into PCT. Now the first couple weeks you are on the rebound of recouping and getting your natty test back but when this happens yes you will loose some gains and with experience you will lose minimal gains. However the quicker you get your natty levels up the faster you can go to bridging the gap with the physical and mental aspect of lifting as example.

On cycle for my squats I was doing sets of 10 at 495. When I got into pct I noticed it dropped slightly but nothing too dramatic. After about 8 weeks I was back to averaging around 405-450 sets of 10 depending on how I felt in the week. However My mind knows what it feels like to hit that 495 for a set of ten. So I set a goal to try to work back up to that in the off time by trying to remember with my mind what it feels like to hit that lift again. The mind is the strongest muscle you have in your body Do not forget this.

So by that logic, they're sayin that having no test is better than having normal test levels?? lol

I think i know where those guys are coming from tho... See their prolly the type of ppl still stuck in the 80's PCT of HIGH doses of Clomid and Nolvadex, both those SERMs have certain qualities that make u feel like shit, hence why around here the best PCT will have a very low dose of Clomid (ie. 25mg - 12.5mg) and absolutely no nolvadex.

So the not so knowledgeable dudes at ur gym, would rather take nothing during PCT coz they dont know of anything better to take, and the only PCT they know of (ie. Clomid + Nolva) make them feel like shit
