NOS is nitrous oxide for your car which is not the same thing as nitric oxide which is what I assume you mean. Nitric oxide products have never been shown to do anything. If you havent bought it yet save your money for some other product.

For future reference, this would be a better procedure for you (or anyone else) to follow when deciding to use a supplement:

• Set a goal for yourself (ie: bulking, cutting)
• Implement a structured resistance training and/or cardiovascular program
• Have a solid understanding of the macro values of your nutritional intake
• Adjust these macro values to help you achieve your goal
• If you are unable to achieve your goal by adjusting these values in combination with your training program then look at supplementing your nutritional intake with a supplement
• START
  Select but do not purchase a supplement which you feel will help you
• Research this particular supplement
• Understand what the ingredients are and what they do
• Make sure you know how, when and in what quantity to consume the product
• Understand any associated health risks with that particular supplement
• Try to validate the manufacturer's claim(s) based on the ingredients of the product
• Compare product 'A' with a similar product 'B' to determine 'value for money'
• If you can answer all the above steps to your satisfaction ... then make your purchase.
• If you can't answer all of the above steps to your satisfaction then return to START

If you follow the above information then you will save yourself a great deal of time and money when it comes to using supplements.

As to the particular product which you have already purchased: Body Fortress NOS is a hemodilator type supplement. Hemodilators will dilate blood vessels and allow a greater volume of blood to be transported than otherwise would be normally. This will inturn increase the amount of oxygen and nutrients delivered to muscle tissues. Most hemodilators will have the amino acid L-arginine as their primary ingredient at a dosage rate of 3000 mg per serving. Depending how sensitive you are to the increase in arginine within your diet, you may experience headaches or dizzyness as a result. Best advice is to start off using only half the recommended dosage rate and slowly work your way up to the full serving and note any side effects. You will also have to take into consideration other sources of L-arginine (ie: protein powders, MRP (meal replacement powders), amino acid supplements) in determining your overall intake of this particular amino.

N0 based supplements are not required in achieveing a good physique so keep that in mind when you are going through your selection process.

Kian nailed that one... The only reason I have taken supplements with arganine (the active ingredient, you can save youself alot of money by just buying it) Is because I like seeing my veins bulge out in all different directions...lol...Cant say that its actually ever improved my lifts or anything.

Take that shit back to the store and get yourself more protien. Something that will actually help you put muscle on. No2 is a joke, I've bought two bottles and got nothing but the placebo affect. You can make just as solid gains with proper dieting and lifting.

Are you serious? Do you know what a placebo effect is?

I follow Patrick Arnolds advice if I use an NO supplement....I only use them on a day when I am working a muscle that is very hard to pump for me. For instance, back can be a bit stubborn, so it is a good day for instance to use NO. Arms for instance are very easy to pump for most, so not really needed on these days.

I think he mean't ISN'T ... he was arguing with me... I think placebo effects are great, no strain on the body with all the gains ))))) Ha, i'm sort of kidding... I was givin some body fortress NOS from a friend and I take it here and there for the psych effect, works great in that regard.

If you were going to buy any NO product the one by BSN is the best. Its called NoXplode. It'll actuallygive you energy on those dreaded back and leg days. What you have there is crap, but you can waste your money if u'd like.
