noob lifter

okay thanks for the advice. if i got my 300g a day, alot of vitamins and vegies, and did some decent lifting and stretches everyday, how much weight could i expect in 6 months? and i'm talking if i remain consistent with my workout and dieting and start doing shakes and creatine. the shape i'm in is working great right now with sports but when i get to high school next year i'm going to have to bust it for varsity. i just want to get in top knotch shape and push my abilities to the limit. again, thanks.

Well the amount of weight your going to put on is upto you really. You need to stick to high protein meals and start piling the weight on the bar. With your compound lifts i would expect a minimum of 4 sets with at least 10 - 12 reps. Throw in drop set on the bench to make your pecs grow. Get into 21's and incline biceps curls to get your arms going and really give it to your triceps because they will make your arms look huge.

Get your technique perfect for squats and deadlifts before you start piling the weight on and use the same rep range as above. Make sure you check out Arnold's body-building encyclopedia and the weightlifting thread here on Elite fitness.

Eat lots of protein! If you have never really lifted before find someone that knows what they are doing and workout with them for awhile. And remember too you are young, just give it time.
