non-plat members: log in to keep your account

got an e-mail from a buddy a few hours ago. he was a non-plat member for awhile and hasnt logged on for about a month or so. when he tried to log on, EF wouldnt let him log on due to 3+ weeks of inactivity. it didnt say that his account was deleted, just disabled and that the only way to get his account back was to sign up for platinum. i guess if you dont check into the site every three weeks, youre account will be disabled and the only way to get it back is to get platinum.

Better suggestion - non - Plats need to go Plat. This site costs money to run. There are guys who have been here for years without paying to help support the site. The upgrades cost money.

I went Plat for one reason - I use the site.

Well it could be argued that some of these non plats who provide free anabolic advice all day should be allowed to stay without having to pay (after all these guys attract more members)

yeah right.... most of the good info comes from "non-members" anyway. not all of it, but a good chunk of it.

I have been here for almost 2 years (exactly), and have never gone platinum (I might if I had some extra money to spend but right now I don't). I don't even have a bank account or credit card, so it might make it a bit difficult to do anyway...

I was in the same boat.I had been acctivated for the military and obviously I could not get by a computer.So when I got home I tryed to sign on and it said my accout was disabled till I went Platnium.I mean I did it, I like this sight and didnt feel like getting a whole new name and shit.But if given the option I may not have.But on the other hand you do need some type of money comming in to keep the sight up...

You also don't get your handle back if you decide not to renew your membership. So my handle that I created in Jan 01 will never be reinstated b/c I don't have the money nor the desire to renew since they did this. If they would have just disabled the platinum features I may have renewed in the future when I had more money. But not now.

Somehow there were a lot of us that weren't being charged for our plat membership. I never noticed b/c I honestly never check my cc statements. I would make sure the balance wasn't much different from the previous month, rip it off and stick it in the envelope. They never notified me saying that there was problem charging me. I went back to see which card it was that I was paying with. It was one that was cancelled a while ago. I didn't even know it was that card b/c I was never made aware that there was something wrong. Now b/c of their fuckup, we're all out of our posts and handles. I'm not sure if that's what happened to genarr, liftsiron, and golfer but that's what happened to me. Still to this day, they have not given me a reason that it was disabled. I only figured it out b/c EFSam posted about the situation in a thread a while. This is when I went back to check my cc statements.

You too have given out some great information. I believe you wrote great T3 and Clen articles among others, if I am wrong correct me. Can't look up your articles anymore, I am not platinum. A friend of mine also lost his handle.

I understand the need for this site to make money but I think taking away the "search" option was harsh enough. I think locking out "handles" of long time contributors is a shame. I hate to lose bro's who are heavy contributors.

I probably will go platinum eventually but I hope I don't lose my handle in the mean time.

Huck, fonz and others keep me here for their wealth of knowledge.
