Ok if you have some money to spend here's a list:

Commanders Palace- many great chefs work here before they open their own place like Emeril.
Brennan's- is really good but I don't go there because my ex's family owns it and one of her cousins cooks there.
Galatoires- Is a really good and well known rest that serves some good crabmeat sardou and stuffed eggplant.
Emerils- which you've heard of.
Bayona- I like this place to take a hot date too it's has a courtyard and is nice.
Italian Food- Bacco is really great.

Cheaper food but still good
Port of Call- great burgers
Joey K's- it's right off magazine st which I love and awesome seafood
Mothers- where all us people from there eat so you know it's good!!!
Redfish Grill- I haven't ate here yet but have heard it was good.

If you need the address and directions to any of them or more questions just ask.

Went to all of these and they were great. Also check out Cafe Du Monde for coffee and deserts at 800 Decatur St.

Any places to grab breakfast? Went to Petunias today and thought it wasn't so great. Ate at Beanies last night and JagerHaus today - Was pretty good. Where is rnch in this thread anyway?

I'm not big on breakfast so I usually go to Cafe Du Monde or I hit the cheapass Wafflehouse/IHOP/Denny's. I've had breakfast at a few hotels in NOLA in the French Quarter which is good but more expensive.
