I got a perscription for anavar and for a 15 day supply 40mg/day (there is 3 refills), the cost will be $1100! so it would cost nearly $3500 for roughly 6 weeks of the stuff. I have insurance that will allow me $2500 a year in perscriptions.. I'm probably not gonna get this one filled unless I just do it once so I'll have 15 days to add on to whatever I get from one of my "sources"

Fill one script. Keep the bottle and buy black market. This way you will have a never ending legal bottle of anavar.

well, the Dr. who gave me the prescription IS a source..
he wrote me for 240 2.5mg tabs..
the way he had to write it was for me to use 20mg a day..
Obviously I would use more than that
it had 2 refills
If I filled all refills, I would have 45 days to use

what's funny, the pharmacist said he'd never even heard of oxandrin 'till I came in there

also mr rdstrkland.. what sounds fishy about MY POST?

good idea by the way..
the only problem is, my yearly prescription limit for my insurance is $2500. I'd hate to use $1100 of it on a 15 day supply of ox, you know what I mean? If I were to get really sick, God forbid, then I would be in trouble down the road..

the reason written on the prescription was "recent unintenional wt. loss" and he said if they ask to tell them it's for gonadal hypotrophy or somthing like that.
the pharmacist asked me right off the bat if I'd ever used steroids.
I told him "yes, I used prednisone for mouth ulcers." He said, "oh no, that don't count. I'm talking about like anabolic steroids." I just played dumb and he seemed to believe me. I told him I've lost 25 lbs. in 2 months..

You may want to consider a co pay insurance plan. I pay a flat rate of $15 for generic scripts and $25 for brand name.

well, my copay would only be $30...
but, my yearly limit is $2500
the yearly limit isn't talking about copays I DON'T THINK...
I think my yearly limit is $2500 for the total of all prescriptions affecting the insurance company

Wow. That would work well for me since girls don't need as much. How can you get a legitimate script for Anavar? Maybe I can get a call in.

FitDiva, try your OBGYN. My OBGYN gets me stuff every now and then (Arimidex, etc.) and I'm a guy. Just think how much easier it would be if I were female. ;)

What's Arimidex? What does it do and what do I need to say to my OB to get him to give it to me. I still dont' know the legal purpose of Anavar? What must you be diagnosed with to get a prescription?

Arimidex is an anti-estrogen.

You will not get a doc to prescrib anavar unless you get lucky like kevin7.

Sounds like you have a lot of research to do before you even consider gear.

Since I had no way to know that your doc was a source, the dose he prescribed sounded fishy, normally its around 22.5 mg/day or less. Chill out bro, and don't be talking shit on an internet board you wouldn't say if you were talking to me, its weak.
 
Thanks. That's why I am on the board. I have some experience with gear but I am still learning and I appreciate the info that i get from you guys. I am new here and I've only done one contest (2nd place).

Catabolic processes(Muscle wasting)Which could include about any wasting-type of disease under the sun

Growth Failure treatment

Hereditary Angioedema

Turner's syndrome

And the list goes on...

No shit, I've worked in a pharmacy before, and must say, every once i a while I would borrow some meds. Even borrowed a bottle of test. When I saw the bottle of oxandrin on the shelf I was in love, but when i checked the price for 30 2.5 mg tabs, it was close to $500 or something like that...needless to say, the pharmacy still has it
 
Kev, I know what doc you are referring to and that damn Oxandrin here is $410 for 30 tabs...@#$%$@!! Needless to say it can stay there @ the pharmacy. Found someone that can get 100 BTG's for $250 gotta love it:) and good luck with your cycle;)

Hey kevin7, I know the doc too and he's helped me a lot with Ox and answering a lot of medical questions too. Have you ever run Ox alone? I am right now and was thinking of doing ox and Eq for my next cycle like you. I was wondering how different the results would be. Thanks.

Kevin: Did he give you 240 with refills or 720? He actually wrote me a script for 480 and 0 refills, but also at 20mg... (long story, don't ask, i requested that) - wonder if ins will cover that and treat it as one copay or two (cuz it's more than 30 days)...

What do u think?
