No Sides

Listen folks:

I've been on cycle and off (equal to time on) and using ancillaries and performing PCT for 6 years now. I decided to have blood tests done on my liver and kidneys. My creatine phosphate levels are HIGH which could land my ass on dialysis because of overworked kidneys. I have "Athlete's Heart". I have a "Fatty Liver". I also can't work out for 3 weeks because of suspicion of muscle disease which is not likely because I am not sore in major muscle groups. All of these symptoms can be alleviated, but it is scary!!!!! What I am telling you guys is to keep a close eye on what you are doing with your supplements. The sides you get are not always the sides you feel or see. Because I never had a blood test until now the sides I don't feel could have been the worst thing to ever happen to me physically.

Continue to train HARD. Supplement according to ability and need not want. But, NEVER ignore what could be going on inside that you can't feel or see--PLEASE!!!.

Enjoy your workouts and good luck!

YUP!!! I just don't want anyone else to be stupid like me.

Nice thread my man. It is important to always have labs done when at all possible.

btw....you will be fine. I have to ask though.....?

During this time did you happen to drink alcohol a lot or take pills or anything?

Did you stayed hydrated and drink a lot of water?

Did you take any kind of Liver protectant (ie Tylers, etc)?

Just in case...no pun intended.

THANKS!

I think it is great you have had those tests, I don’t have a lot of confidence it those labs,

but my point is

Don’t worry too much about the results or don’t be scared, you are fine.

I had a lab test a few years ago, thought they were going to schedule me for a liver transplant that day. They wigged out.

Two years later and I am fine, so is my liver.

Excellent post and hopefully it will wake a few people up to take this business seriously.

I get pre and post cycle blood work done every time - it is THE GOLDEN RULE.

Take care, eat & train clean and I am sure you will get better!

Do you think the high creatine level is due to taking creatine for severals years or somehow related to gear? Ive seen several studies on how creatine does not effect you later in life?

Sure. Let me address these questions. To this day I still put down at least a gallon of water/day. I will have a beer or two on saturdays when I am OFF cycle which I was during this time of testing. When I am ON cycle I use Milk Thistle and cranberry extract or cranberry juice to help with the kidneys and liver. I hope this helps and answers your questions.

In so many words the doctor told me this. Your natural creatine phosphate is secreted in the body when there is muscle breakdown. Your level should be no higher than around 300. After two blood tests my levels were 1300 and 1000. But that second number was done after 3 days of not training.

soooooo..........how does that relate to gear? other than maybe more aggressive workouts and tearing down more muscle? i mean, gear or not, it ssounds like any weightlifter, natty or not would have elevated levels then?
