Hubby went to the local Bodega (corner store) the other nite & got me an ice cream sammich -- a Reeses Pieces one...... I forgot about it, so while making dinner, pulls it out of the freezer saying "don't forget this is in here!"

Oh, he brought me home a salad today too....

I'm not gonna eat it!! Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Just keep telling him NO!!!

My BF told me he'd make me dinner (He KNOWS the diet I'm following) I get to his house & it's ham & scallop potato's. I told him to forget it & left. Next night it was halibut & asparagus - much better :)

I'm sorry you have to deal with that, maybe on some level he's jealous of your self-control and will power, or maybe he's worried other guys will want you or try to steal you away from him

Throw it in the garbage. I have done it before.

I have also thrown things in and dug them out LoL.

Just remember, no means no! Be strong!

Yes, best thing to do :chomp:

Jenscat5 & I were discussin our saboteurs the other day. I talked trash about my man trying to wreck my diet on EF. Yesterday, he takes me to Costco, buys me 12 lbs of protein powder ($19.99 a pound!! :) ) and then takes me to Red Lobster and buys me a salmon dinner with lots of veggies. During dinner he mentioned that he'd paid my gym membership for 6 months.(sigh)

It was almost like he KNEW I'd talked about him and was trying to make me feel bad. I did.

ABSOLUTELY! If something is torturing you, chances are you're going to eat it unless you do something about it. Throw it out and pretend like you ate it while he wasn't there. You'll feel very empowered afterwards ;)

Yea really.....Mine is supportive, but sometimes forgets what I'm not supposed to eat after certain times, lol. He'll make me dinner, chicken breast, veggies, and brown rice, and i have to tell him thanks but i can't have the brown rice now cause it's too late for carbs. It's cute.

I'm the Mole

I confess, I am a garbage picker!

And because of that, after a cheat, I pour water in to my half eaten bag of flamin' hot cheetos (my oh so guilty pleasure)!!!!

Inquiring minds want to know....

Did you eat it?

Nope!! Did Not!!

Actually, found it in the fridge today..... I have no idea why he put it there -- it was all mushy, so I stuck it back in the freezer. Still hoping he'll eat it....

Ah. I don't really :-D mean to bring the discussion back to this; however, I wanted to make a suggestion. If you're really craving ice cream - this is what I did. I just randomly searched some diets out of boredom and came across this load of shit called the "ice cream diet." Basically, this diet focuses on calcium's power to aid in fatloss. If you want a cheat, or rather to add something much healthier than regular ice cream to your diet then (this page contained a list of ice creams...) get Turkey Hill's no sugar added ice cream. It is sweetened with splenda (and for those of you who don't know, splenda rates an 80 on the GI scale since the pancreas responds to sweetness rather than cals.) and evidently has no added sugar. The type I bought is Cherry Rippled Fudge - 90 cals per half cup, 4 sugars, 5 sugar alcohols, and 5grams of fiber I believe. The reason I added this to my diet is to get back on the sugar scale, considering I literally excluded sugar for months and nearly screwed myself at 15 yrs of age. So now I'm adding the calcium, fiber, and a bit of sugar just to enjoy while I can :) If you look the diet up using a search you will find several other brands you can buy other than Turkey Hill..but uh..ya know..this shtuff tastes purdy fine, except you need to watch for the calcium percentage. 10% or more..any less is a waste and a cheat. Mine has 30 ;) Enjoy!

^^ Actually, I never crave ice cream, cuz I don't really like it much....

LOL @ the Ice Cream Diet.....
