Hey, I think people before the 70's like Bill Pearl had great physiques, bill pearl had some of the best abs I've seen.

I dunno, I guess they trained consistantly, and dieted sensibly (well some).. heh not like today where you see some guys like priest eat KFC and drink sodas daily in the off season, I mean he does look pretty great in contest shape, but so much excessive eating of junk is probably what causes some of the protruding guts...
