Night Sweats

Hey guys - I'm about 5 weeks in running about 12mg var daily (unfortunately have the 25mg tabs and splitting them as well as I can four ways to take bid) as well as GH about 1.5iu daily.

Night sweats are becoming increasingly worse - so much that I'm getting up and changing my clothes in the middle of the night. It's nasty.

Any tips on ways to minimize this? Does it have to do with the way I'm dosing? Thanks!

I am going through the same thing...it is normal with AAS use. I have not found a solution. I wake up soaked and stinky! I have to change my clothes because they are drenched.....

you can try lowering the dose in any siutation where sides is an issue.

otherwise invest in one of those A/C controls that you can set time for ... during the night your body hikes its temperature, so set it where around 1 am it drops the temp 2 degrees. that should help.

also when you get up during the night drink a lot of fluids..

Thanks much - I didn't even think to do that (increase water intake).

yeah I am on a tren cycle and dealing with this bigtime. I am drinking a lot of fluids before bed, and then when i wake up during the night I drink 8oz and drop the A/C down and it is helping. before I go to bed I pee and if its yellow i know i need to drink more. it needs to be clear

alittle wrong, could be due to the amount of vitamins that u have taken "color of urine"
Maybe use ventilation while you sleep?

I keep my house fairly cool, and even have a fan blowing on me to prevent this.

Increase water intake before bed will definitely help....although the downside is you will be up peeing all night ! :)

Yeah I'm seeing this a bit too. Not too bad when sitting around, but bad at night and when I workout. If I could get rid of the stifness I wouldn't care if I sweat like a pig. Pee does look a little soupy, so maybe more water would help the stiffness too. This is always worse on injection day and the day after.

i wish I could hook myself up to an IV all day and night.. wouldn't that be easier then downing 2 gallons of water a day?

well I am being facetious but I wouldn't mind doing it on a hard workout day afterwards to re-hydrate myself.. does anyone know if this is even possible or how difficult it would be?

Lol @ some of the things people do. Its a very common side effect of most AS...my solution? Crank up the AC and if you need to keep a few extra blankets nearby. I would rather be a little chilled/comfortable than drowning in my own damn sweat. Best of luck Rach

Same here.. WHAT is with the stink though.. it's a weird smell... not just a BO smell... Anyway.. I get that too.. sucks... :S I just deal... but yea.. sometimes I wake up and my bed is literally SOAKED.... seriously... like I pissed the bed... it's brutal... lol

Ice water keeps keep core temps down real well. If you are getting up drink some ice water and it will help. I get seating issues and ice water (real COLD) does the trick for me.

Also, sleep in the buff and adjust the AC.

Thanks for the ice water tip... I'll try that...

lets all remember humans evolved to sweat when overheated. so that is why you are sweating, its the bodies natural way of cooling itself down.. dogs cannot sweat, they pant when hot. when we would chase down our prey we had that advantage.

so the sweat isn't a bad thing, but lets nip the problem in the butt by staying hydrated and cool so the body doesn't have to overheat in the first place.

Thanks again for the responses - I'm one that has never liked to sleep naked and likes to be snuggled up in blankets... I do have AC, but to blast it in this condo I'm subletting is a big 2 thumbs down for the electric bill. I could use a large fan though, I think that will be my next step. (and more ice water)

Hahahaha for real B! :D lol

night sweats are common with var. I used to run 100 mgs of var ed and used to wake up twice to change my shirt....

I have done this a ton of times. I'll always have a complete iv set up and 5 litters 0.9 normal saline. Running a few in over an hour or two the morning of a hangover is nothing short of amazing recovery times. I wouldn't suggest just anyone doing it though. Placing an iv is pretty tough and phlebitis is nothing fun. I'm an RN
And wifes a dr... We do them on each other whenever need be.

yeah I imagine it would be difficult to do it on ones self. i used to date an RN, but we aren't on speaking terms or I would pay her to come by and do it.
