As for stomping Riverview Gardens, or any other 6A school in MO.....do your homework slick.......they sent 11 kids to D1 schools for football with the last graduating class......whether you and your "college buddies" could "stomp" them is of no consequence....

in my High School I had almost as many black friends as white due mostly to the de-seg program and being involved in sports......and I can assure you I never once refferred to them as "my nigga"......

I lived in West County in HS (yeah yeah- I did not have much cash like the other peeps there) and had similar de-seg, about 10 years ago... Wish I knew what happened to some of the dudes I played ball with back in the day... Some of them were real cool dudes, they would come out and stay for weekends everyonce in a while...

Also, living there during HS, I saw on 3 seperate incidents dudes getting blasted right in front of me (out on the town in downtown St Louis) One time a bunch of dudes lit up a car with a coupe of automatic weapons.... St Louis is no joke...

(Pittbull- I don't know if it is 5A or 6A, now it was a 5A school, but that is all it went up to at the time- we played the likes of Kirkwood, Lindbergh, Mehlvilel, Hazelwood schools, etc)

Yep the murder thing is pretty sad.

I can appreciate your view on the matter bro. We are different peeps from different places with different friends. There is no need for a flame fest, we are just discussing differing opinions.

Far as where we played some played at smaller schols like UNT and SouthWestTexasSate, but a few of us are former Horns, Aggies, and one of my best friends played in Jr College @ Tyler. No NFL stars or anything just friends that went to school and work out at the same place near Dallas. We also play basket ball and a little volleyball in the summer.

We dont just walk around dropping N bombs on each other, but you hear it once in a while when we play, noone gets shot and aside from the one time, there have been no fights.

yo used to be an exclusively philly word. tons of people here used it, but most people outside philly never heard of it, or only heard of it associated with the city. and it's use was limited to the same thing as "hey" you would get someone's attention by saying "yo!' as a sort of greeting. but rappers started using that shit at the ends of sentences and all kinds of other uses, ruining it.
