Does anybody know something about the NHE nutrition specialist certification. I find that it's impossible contacting the NHE through the web site and I wanted to know something more abou this certification: is it valid? Where ca I find the textbook? Is it true that I can work for them once I am cerificated?

The nutrition certification is very good. It covers everything. I took that exam a while ago and just took the Master program which was much more difficult. As far as working for them once you are certified, I don't think that part is true. You have to first get hired and go through an interview process. They are not going to hire you just because you passed the exam. The ad on CareerBuilder is clear about the hiring process. I would image there are a lot of people applying for that job and I'm sure they will pick only those people who score well. If you barely pass the exam, you probably won't get an interview.

I took the NHE Certification fitness nutrition exam yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Everything in the study materials was covered and it was laid out in plain english, with none of the typical "tricks" you ususually see on exit exams. I'm going to take the nhe certification master program next month and look forward to getting that too.
