As for guys who never quite became what I thought they'd be...Joey Gallowey, he just couldn't stay healthy, freaky athletic ability though. Antonio Freeman, a coupl eof years ago I thought he was one of the best all around recievers in the league, but he has yet to take it to the next level, and appears to have lost a step...

BTW, I haven't seen Jimmy Smith mentioned yet. He doesn't get much recognition and isn't that flashy, but his numbers are damned impressive...

LOL at that Philly team MB just mentioned. Didn't they have Heath Sherman running the ball? That team had one of the best defenses I've ever seen. With a healthy Randall Cunningham and Herschel Walker, they could have seriously challenged for the Super Bowl...

Ahhh Fellow Fantasy Football Freaks!

NatyMike, your team looks solid? You only have to start 2 WR's?

Top 5 WR (in order)
1- Moss - he is by far the best.
2-Terell Owens - size, speed, agility, hands.. dominating.
3-Marvin Harrison- good hands and speed.. could be more physical.. and future hall of famer QB
4- Tory Holt -will come into his own this year.
5- Issac Bruce/Eric Moulds... Bruce has better QB but Moulds is more physically gifted.

Sleepers
-Curtis Conway- has a new QB and RB.. good be steal in later round
-Santana Moss - Moss prototype with stong armed Vinny throwing the rock
-Pete Warrick- just a matter of time until his skills start dominating
-Joe Horn- not a real sleeper but could he could be looked over for a steal in later rounds

Getting old/injury prone:
-Cris Carter- all he does.. catch TDs
-Jerry Rice- should have retired on top
-Marcus Robinson- could have been great but the injuries have been devestating
-Jimmy Smith- can he come back to top 3 status?
-Antonio Freeman - still Favre's 1st choice?

peter warrick needs someone capable of throwing the ball..

jerry rice is getting old but if the guy wants to prove soemthing he can... besides, he is good for 70 catches if not more... i'd still like him on my team, especially if i were the raiders and wanted to take that next step.. why not have a guy who has taken that step over and over again?

thick- yes, heath sherman and james joseph... now, i am an old style NFC east football fan.. i like big hard nosed rb's... hard hitting defenses... so, i had the defense but i had girls running the ball.

true that on Stephen Davis. I'm just not sold on the big backs I guess. It seems that most of them will have one or two really good seasons then they are done. Eddie George and Jerome Bettis would be exceptions. I'd prefer a guy who is about 5'10, 205-210 with great quickness and acceleration. I think the 240 lbs lack the quickness...

thick, i've said this before and i believe it (unfortunately) eddie george has 2 or 3 years left... he wont make it to 10 seasons... takes far too many hits and they ran him over 400 times last year!!!
