i'm proud to say i got kicked out of both BC and SJR, pretty much on purpose.
fuck that shit. all boys catholics schools are the ghey, no matter how many state championships they won. They used to force me to shave at shit when i had a full on beard (at 15 lol), were gay as fuck if you didnt wear a certain type of shoe. Plus both schools were full of scumbags. Rich spoiled brats > shady scumbag central any day of the week
it would alternate between BC and SJR for the football state championship when i was in high school...and then after i graduated all i would hear about is Don Bosco. DB used to only be good in lacrosse

lots of pressure on those dudes for being in high school. Their success = funding for the school.
They used to be ranked #1 or #2 in the country for all high school football.
i don't know what it is about jersey, but steroids are just so much more part of the culture it seems. maybe it's just more accessible or maybe the guido precense is just that strong....but i would say FL and NJ had the biggest amount of juice users...with NJ exceeding FL believe it or not. Now, most of those guys don't even look like they juice but that's another story.

in florida it's easy to understand. Since the weather is good most of the time, you can't hide your body at all. And especially in south florida, you have so many good looking people in great shape. A lot of people trying to keep up with the jones'. Working out is huge here and so is looking good. It's a extremely image conscious place. it differs the more north you go in florida, but still somewhat applies. You expect the same in Southern California, and it's no shock places like muscle beach exist etc.
New jersey though...Not really sure what it is. Yeah i mean the beach is big in the summer, but half of the year you're bundled up in layers.
