Newbie requesting help

Well to start off... My goal is to lose some weight and gain some muscle.. I have a weight bench and a treadmillthat i can use(and tae bo tapes :))

I'm 18
205 lbs
6'1
and i have a 19%body fat(i think)

i've been trying to make a routine for myself but i don't know where to start or what components need to be in one..

Would someone be able to help me create a routine/diet? or at least give me insight on where to start?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

6'1" 205 eh? Click the search button and look up CKD, its a diet style. or try www.c-k-d.com

that would be a good thing to start learnin about before gettin into a diet/workout routine.
 
i'd also do a search on compound movements... with the weight bench you have you can prolly do a lot of exercises on your own there.. like bench presses, deads, rows, etc and so forth.
