Hey guys, first off I am new to this forum and would like to have some help on gaining some serious muscle. I am 23 years old, about 5'10 and pushing 165. Needless to say I am not the biggest guy out there. I want to put on some big muscle, at least 30 pounds or more, and I am hoping you guys can give me some good information on where to begin.

I will be honest, I do not have a serious work out program at the moment but even in the past I was never able to put muscle on. I know i have the frame because I have some real broad shoulders, but once the clothes come off it is all skin and bones from there. I really want to change this look and have been looking into gaining muscle the fast way.

I know there is some side effects due to the imbalance of testosterone and estrogen levels getting out of whack. I would like to try to avoid that stuff, but who wouldn't? Anyway, I am not opposed to injecting, although I would have to do it myself and I am not experienced in that type of stuff at all.

To sum it all up, I would like to gain at least 30 pounds of solid muscle and I am not opposed to taking it in any which way. I would also like to know on avg. how long I should be taking this and apporx. how much money this will run me. If you guys think I should start will smaller goals I am not opposed to hearing what you think would be best for me.

I just want to gain some serious muscle for once in my damn life!! Thanks in advance. I will be sure to be checking back daily to see what information you guys have for me.
 
First of all you need to learn to train and eat thats 90& of the battle ,by not doing that you can expect to loose all of it!
 
eat like a savage train like a beast..no need to take anything at this point

When i started out i was roughly 165lbs. at 6' with low bf as you can imagine. I started training with a c-worker while in college and in roughly 2 years went to around 195lbs. I did one body part a day m-f and was eating EVERYTHING in sight - working at chilis it wasn't hard!!! I was eating roughly 3500 calories a day between 6-7 meals a day and the only secret he tought me was CONSISTENCY with food and workout! Search this site for diets and workouts and i'm sure you can reach 30lbs. within a short time frame
 
you cannot take a magic pill to get your goals.

you must train hard and eat hard.

nobody is born huge.. i was always the skinny kid growing up. when i was 15 i started reading books and using my dads old dusty weights in the garage. from there i joined a local gym.. trained all summer.. then my junior year i made varsity weightlifting and by my senior year i was 8th in my state and county champion by a mile.

i trained nonstop for 2 years to reach that. 6X per week. my diet was strict although it was typical of a high school kid. i understood to stay away from sugars and salts.
 
I started out extremely skinny as well and gained 30 solid quality pounds training naturally and eating lots. Remember to get your protein! At least 1 gram of protein per pound of desired body weight per day.

Took me 9-12 months for 30lbs of muscle my friend. Probably still holding water in them right now, it doesn't happen overnight.

Try eating more calories and see if you gain weight, once you establish how many calories your body needs to gain you can go from there.
 
You could dbol it and gain about 20-30lbs in 4-5 weeks, but majority of it will be H20

There are numerous reasons why he shouldn't do this as a novice...

He must start with a good foundation of proper sleep, diet, exercise & experience. Beginning a good HST Training program and keeping good logs along with the aforementioned is the best prescription for this man.

Without those things in place, AAS can neither be entirely effective nor appreciated.
