New Shocking Technique?

I had recently thought and am currently trying this of this because of a platue i have found myself in lately, im usually a night time lifter (7-8pm), i hate mornings(6-7). but i thought if the point of shocking your muscles is to get them out of comfort and routine then this should work right? im on my 3rd day of doing this, first 2 days i felt weak in the beginning of the workout and angry cause i dont like having no night life cause of this idea. as i got into it, i felt more into it, almost more concentrated, also not as many distractions in the gym in morning atleast at mine. This morning was my 3rd day, i think my mind is getting slightly more accustomed to it, still needed some ephedrine to get me goin but felt good. Feeling soreness more right now, maybe i shoulda switched just either time of day or workout routine, but i changed both. So anyone got any opinions, or someone wanna join in? So i dont feel like the only loser saying "im just goin to chill tonight" to my buddies?

I think maybe you're taking 'shocking the muscles' too literally. Time of day is more of a comfort factor. For instance, I cannot have a good workout in the morning. It's a good thought, but it's no different than saying you'll train outside in the cold for a few months to shock the muscle. What would be interesting to see though, is whether the body recovers better from a 10-12 hours worth of nutrients and then sleep (morning training) or from immediate sleep (night training).

The only reason I thought of this, was awhile back I read an article (Ive been searching for it, but cant find it, i dont remember where exactly i saw it) but it commented on how your muscles get use to the time of day and will be at the peak at that time of day, and it gave examples of how west coast NFL teams typically beat East Coast teams on Monday Night Football because in their opinion saying that it was the correlation between typical practice and game time.
