I don't know what spamming or guerilla marketing is, but I'm not making any money. I guess I was trying to sell y'all on the idea of taking some action, against the Drug War; and the idea of self-governing so we get to decide for ourselves, what and what not, we can put in our bodies. Thought it would be interesting for the members here. If this is what spamming is, then Lord, I apologize.

Historically, "spam" is posting the same damn thing over and over.

A lot of spam is about money, but ideological spam is just as annoying. It usually involves someone who says (or thinks) "This is SO important that the rules don't apply to it." When THAT thought comes to mind, it means you're about to post something where it does not belong. Step back from the keyboard before it's too late.

For instance, posting the same thing in more than two of the boards here is spamming. A topic posted to four of our boards is off-topic in three of them -- because if that were not the case, we would not HAVE all four of those boards.

Even if you are unable to walk away from an argument. Even if you like to argue. I still expect you to keep it civil.

Here's a suggestion -- next time you start to type "You're full of shit!" change it to "That's very interesting."

You get just as much satisfaction out of it ("Ha ha, the moron doesn't even know I just said he was full of shit") but it changes the whole direction of the thread.

Instead of saying "Yeah? Well, you're a dick!" the other guy might explain where he's coming from. You might even find out two or three posts later that the guy wasn't full of shit after all.
