New PR after five months plateau...

I finally hit some new numbers after being at a same weights for about 4-5 months...
Although during that time I had some off time it gets frustrating when you workout and nothing seems to be happening...

Anyway new bench is at 260 single rep max, Im hoping to hit threee plates before the year is over
 
I'm with you... most I've done raw is 265 I think... and I want my shirted bench over 350 by December... so our goals are very similar... work it brother

This probably sounds nooby but I dont know what shirts are exactly
Can you help me with this?...As far as i understand it helps with the bench and is a safety precaution like a belt is?
Im only 16 so Im still pretty new at this
 
I was stuck at 225 x 3 for 2 years. I think if its not progressing than you are doing too many sets, not rotating the exercises or not working weak points.
 
A bench shirt is used by powerlifters... it is VERY tight in the chest/shoulder area and gives a blast off the chest. I get about 40 lbs out of mine.

some people can get even more out of shirts. depending on what type you have and how well you know it and how well it fits you.
