New pin everytime?

Kick-Ass Stack

Plat Hero
Platinum
Just curious, if everyone is using a new pin everytime. I mean do you draw with one and shot with another?

I dunno if I was experiencing a dull pin from GPZ or not but damn if it wouldn't stick in me the other night.

Anyhow am I being a Girlie Man (in an Arnold voice) by drawing EQ and Test-E out with 1 pin and then changing pins before I inject?

Thanks!

Current Cycle

500mg EQ /wk
500mg Test-E /wk

Dude!!!
YES you should use a new pin every single time with no question!!! You are stickin' a NEEDLE into your body i think it's worth spending a few dollars on pinz. I find it almost impossible to draw with anything higher than a 20g pin. but maybe im just impatient!!
Draw w/18g-20g
inject w/23g-25g

I couldn't agree with you more. I'll have to pick up some larger guage needles.

Thanks.

If I wasn't clear, I always properly dispose of needles after use and never reuse.

draw with 18 gauge, shoot glue with 25g 1.5". didnt read whole thread but of course use fresh pin every tiem.

Y'know, growin' up trash was unique in some ways.

I was diagnosed at age 8 with some kind of allergy that I had to get weekly IM injections for. We could afford the meds, but only 1 syringe + needle (this back in the day before disposables were cheaply available).

3 years of watching mom drop the same glass syringe and big stainless needle into a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes, drawing the injection, and then winding up to slam it into my delt. 3 years of the same needle. She still has that needle in her medicine cabinet, and will use it again if she needs to.

I like fresh needles for every injection now.

Egad. How dull was that pin?!?!? It must have been like shooting a nail in your shoulder!

By the way, draw with fresh 20g, shoot with fresh 23g, alcohol swab area before and after, every time...

I'm on the exact same cycle, i recently started drawing with one and injecting with a new pin. I found that after drawing from 2 seperate vials the needle was a little more dull and it hurt more to inject. Also i got a slight infection im my left after drawing and injecting with the same pin at one point, dunno if I got some bacteria from the vial, but my arm looked like i had a bad sunburn for about 6 days afterwards (delt inject) and it hurt much worse than normal. After you switch to a new pin it goes in much easier also. You can imagine how bad a dull 22 gauge hurts...what size are you using?

I take a pin draw it out than replace with the needle I'll be injecting with..Of course when I do my SuS redijects I dont have to worry about it

I just finished that same cycle.
In the beging I did draw with a 25g and used the same to inject but it took forever to draw, so I got some larger pins like 20g to draw then changed pin.

My number one concern using AAS is an infection for unsteril gear or injection.

Pins are cheap.

i draw with 18 usually to speed the proccess up, and stick with 23, but have used the 23 same syringe several times

I talked to a vet and she said everytime you draw with a pin either from just touching the glass inside or just putting it into the vial it dulls the needle by 50-80%. Depends on the AAS but i usually draw with a 22g and shoot with a 23g

You can draw and shoot with the same pin, but for oil based compounds it is easier to draw with a larger one, then inject with a smaller one to decrease scar tissue formation.

Good info. Thanks!

I'll be switching pins tonight!

^^what he said. You draw with a wider gauge and then put the original pin back on to shoot.

Yup, use a big ass needle for drawing and a skinny ass needle for shooting. . .less time drawing. . .less scar tissue from shooting.

change the pin for inject. I draw with 25 and shoot with 23.

Why would you want to draw with a smaller pin and shoot with a larger one? Unless you just thought that 25 is bigger than 23?
