New Insulin Humalog

Doe's anyone have any information on "Humalog or Humalog mix 75/25". they are new type of Insulin by the same company that makes "Humulin R" Eli Lilly.

and also does anyone know if Insulin need perscription in California

This is not exactly new

Humalog is the fastest acting (mealtime) insulin - onset is around 15min and duration @ 1.5-2 hours.

Humalog Mix75/25 is composed of 70% human insulin isophane suspension and 30% human insulin injection.

Only use the humalog (regular) unless you really know what your doing and are experimenting - the peak / onset is harder to predict.

I prefer Humalog, primarily because of its short and strong duration - makes it easier to keep fat off because its in my system the shortest (unlike humalinR which stays for hours longer) - but it does hit the fastest so be prepared

If you want to find out the status of it in your state (cali) just call a local pharmacy and ask

The newest insulin available is novalog, humalog is new but this shit is very new and i'm pretty sure its not, legal in cali. Good Luck Bro, Be Safe.
