New here need answers about HCG

Hi everyone! I am 34 woman and my stats are 145 pounds and 5'9. I have been working out naturally with diet and excercise for several years. Summer is here and I would like to shed some pounds. I wanted to try the HCG drops but my husband seems to think it is just a fad? However he has injectable HCG and would like to know if it would assist in any weight loss for me if I were to run it as a cycle? Thanks for your input!
 
I agree with your husband it is a fad. The diet protocal is 600 calories a day seems like a quick fix diet vs a long term change in my mind means most people will gain the weight back very fast.
 
A friend of mine did the injectable for a while, lost a noticeable amount of weight, now she's gained it back and then some.

Not saying that will happen to you, but eating so little calories, once you start eating normally again, the re-gain is almost inevitable (unless of course you ease yourself back into it, which most don't have the patience to do it seems)
 
Ive seen interesting anecdotal evidence behind it...but agree with P on this...it seems like theres a serious rebound because it never actually teaches anyone to eat

The drops have trace amounts of HCG which makes them basically bunk.

I agree that in the injectable there may be some benifits to it but overall it is not a long term solution unless they plan on staying on 600 calories a day as well as the HCG.
 
the drops part didn't even register with me (I read it but didnt process it)...I was referring to the injectable
 
It won't solve your "problem".. Losing weight/fat or gaining muscle is not about what you can take to make it happen. It about what you can DO.

You can learn to eat clean.
You can kick your own ass in the gym.
You can know it takes patience, dedication and motivation.
You can realize that there is no easy solution.

If it sounds easy, then it is not going to work. Injecting something and having the fat fall off isn't going to work. Sorry.
 
Thank you for all the positive input ladies! I am sorry if I came off as lazy to some of you... but I have been working out and dieting for years with no problems. Recently I have had breast augmentation and put on a few pounds recovering . Thanks again

Most people on this site will just say no this no that and not really hit you up with some advice you can use.. YOU WAITED TO LONG.. Growth ain't going to much of anything by the time summer roles around and to be perfectly honest you could accomplish more faster with a diet change and a a few good supplements.

I would like to welcome you to this site and ask that you stick around longer then just a thread asking for a quick fix for summer. My self and others are here to help you for the log hall. Thanks for coming and send me a pm some time. You have lots to learn..
 
Vegitarian Diet for HGC cycle?? Please HELP

I am starting injections today on my 5 week hcg cycle!! :qt: Im 145lbs at 5'9".... I'd like to cut 15lbs off due to being out of the gym because of a boob job lol. So here is the problem at hand... Im almost a complete vegitarian! My husband says I need more protein. I tried his whey powder and it really isnt very good (ELITE WHEY). I love the atkins shakes if that matters??lol. So this is my first cycle of anything and I want the best results possible, if anyone can help please do!! Lay out what I need to eat step by step meal by meal and I will surely take your advise! THANK YOU :stilleto:
