Hey, this is a new guy here.
I havnt got a routine yet, but the gym guys are getting more reasonablre nowadays. Like , im just 100lbs and yeah my goal is 150 lbs in whatever time (earlier the better). I used to run like at top speed for many minutes at the tread mill ( i am a sprinter at school level and i luv it) but they made me stop all dat crap. No cardio for me now. I gotta gain weight u noe.
rite, so now, i was doin chest workouts today, and tomorrow imma do leg workouts. All though this is not gonna be my routine for life, the guys said, i'll have to come "everyday" doin alternate workouts like this, letting the other muscles to recover. So my questions :
1) Are alternate muscle workouts (Like today chest, tomorrow something else) alow me to go to gym every day with just sunday as the only break. I really luv goin to gym u noe, dats why, plus its vacation.
2) He said i should do pull ups and wrist curls everyday. What is so special about them that i can do it everyday without any rests? I have a very tiny forearm u noe.
3) i am supposed to buy a protein powder. What is dat i should buy if my primary goal is weight gain? Is Whey protein good for weight gain?
