Hi all.

My name is Istvan (the name is originary from Hungary (eastern Europe) ). You may call me Steve, Steven, Steph, whichever you like. :)

I live in Romania. I'm 21. I decided to change my lifestyle after I was diagnosed with gallbladerstones. My gallblader was removed. Doctors said it must have been hereditary (hence the early period I was diagnosed with it). I have no brothers nor sisters. My parents love me and took care of me. In other words I ate everything in sight.

I have no pain whatsoever from the surgery that was 4 years ago. Thank God. Other people that were diagnosed with gallblader and had it removed complained about post-surgery complications. I had none.

I came to this board via the guidance of "dabuffguy". He brought me to this site and I am glad. I am not looking forward to using steroids because I am only 21 years old and I still have natural gains to make. My goal is to READ READ and READ as much as I can to know as much as I can about steroids untill I will decide that it's time to take them in order to reach my personal goals. To back up what I said, I'll post some pictures that were taken today (29.03.2008).

I am eating about 150 gr. of protein and 100 gr. of carbs. The fat I get comes from mainly chicken breast and an egg yolk in the morning with my eggwhites, also cottage cheese before bed.

NOTE: I use no supplements whatsoever. Reason : Lack of money ;)

Give the fact that I posted pics of myself, I would like some feedback on how to approach my diet. Meaning, should I bulk or diet down more ?

I weigh 93 kg (205 lbs) and am 6' 1". (185 cm).

All coments are welcome.

Thanks for reading and I'm happy to be part of this community.

Steph

Welcome to Elite, Steve!

It's good news that you recovered with no complications, and that your parents kept you well and happy. :)

I'm sure you will find many people here who think your strategy of natural gains is a wise decision. There are many informative threads regarding that course of action in addition to threads on further supplementation, if you so choose.

Your pics look good. My suggestion would be to start a log here: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/weight-training-weight-lifting/
....where you can get excellent feedback on proper training, nutrition, etc from your peers as well as our many resident experts.

Again, welcome to Elite.:)

Yo man!

Welcome to the site. Lot's and lots of good bro's here to help you out.

Thanks all of you.

So let's hear it. Should I bulk or cut ? ? ?

Besides my introduction and pics, that is what I'm interested in the most.
I incline to cutting because I really have some "good" fat left. . .

But a "clean" bulk wouldn't be that bad.

Steph

Eat hard, train hard. Don't worry about "bulking" or "cutting". Concentrate on building muscle! You're young, you have a lot of years of training to get under your belt. Train to build muscle, heavy compound movements, squats, deads, rows, bench, military press. Eat to build muscle, eat healthy, eat often. Concentrate on getting stronger and buliding muscle!

Welcome to EF bro...

I'd say looking at your pics, you need some serious bulking.

Look around the forums, have fun, read the rules of the forums before posting and if you need anything, just ask.

U came to the right place. i would just worry about putting muscle mass on first and worry about dieting much later.

hello mate, i'm new here aswell.
some people may say i'm not qualified to give my opinions yet, but i would say 150 g of protein a day isnt enough. when trying to build muscle, a good rule to use is to consume at the very least 1g per lb of bodyweight, per day. when bulking i like to double that.

1.5-2 is ideal imo.
