is it normal that im never satisfied with my gains? does this happen to alot of you? when i started working out i was 6' 162lbs now im 226lbs and i feel like i havent gained anything. and i still feel like i look skinny. WTF is this all in my head? whats a good weight for 6 feet? im 16% bodyfat and that was all natural gains, i just started my first cycle last week. im hoping to get to 250lbs by the end of my cycle.
 
Not really a bad thing, unless you're consumed by it.

It's a good thing to set, achieve, and set new goals, keep reaching higher...and that goes for everything in life...

You gotta find that zone where you're happy with what you've accomplished but you want that next level....
 
I'm kind of the same way, but you'll eventually hit a happy medium. Funny, I always say "just 5-10 more pds and then i'll stop there"

6' and 226 is definitely not small though dude. if you got ur bf down to 10-12 % you'll look like a beast!!
 
I am 6'0 250 right now. around your BF%. I used to be 170 also. In genetic size and stature i'm a fairly large person. But I dont see what others see. I see what I perceive to be small. My wife and friends are always commenting that i'm not small by any means. but it makes no difference. If i am in really good shape at the time I will cop to looking good. But never big enough. I think its a BB'ers desease.:biggrin:
 
you know when you see someone all the time you dont see the physical changes in them. then a friend whos been away for a while and says wow that bitch got fat as hell. well kinda the same thing. not saying anyones fat. just givin an example but you see yourself all the time so you really cant see 100% of the gains as others see. understand
 
I kind was like all of you not too long ago...couldnt be big enough. Gain gain gain and gain some more
I'm 6 ft and 260 now and I think I hit my happy medium. I've been told by few ppl that I'm a monster in the gym and that's good enough for me to stop going crazy with my weight.
If it happens to gain another 10lbs that;s fine but I don't want to go past 270...That's where I draw the line
I pretty much maxed out every machine in the gym, the only thing I have left is the free weights but I don't want to get bored and pound the same squat, bench, dead routine crap day in and day out. That;s just me

skinny fat is a term often used. when i was 250+ at 6'2" people thought I was a monster, so I'm sure at 6' you are a fkkin hulk! haha. I can't wait to do a 2nd cycle!! ahhh killing meee!!!

Bro, it sounds like you are doing pretty well...I think many of us start to feel the gains and love every minute of it. It can be intoxicating..I know I had a problem for quite a bit (and I still struggle with) never feeling "content". It isn't easy my man but keep it in perspective.
