Unfortunately, his aspirations to audit the Federal Reserve are enough alone to ensure that the establishment would never allow him to become President. Hell, Fox News didn't even allow you to vote for Ron Paul on their online poll, and this is after he won the SRLC Straw Poll! Not only could you not vote for Paul, but they showed a 0% share of the American people's votes!

Ron Paul is the ONE person who actually represents the opportunity for change and for the American people to get their rights back. Every single other candidate out there is bought and paid for by both the special interest groups and the International banking cartel.

It's always dicey when the topic turns to politics. (I've done some political journalism so I'm pretty close to it). I know a lot of people like to pick a "team" and stick with it. The funny things is, Ron Paul, a Republican, is probably the most progressive candidate I've seen in a long time. (And I've been around a long time). I would vote for him in a second, but it's doubtful he'll win the Rep nomination. And he hasn't got the money to run as an independent.

The only chance he would have (and it's a long shot) were if Bloomberg ran and asked Paul to be VP. But that is doubtful because Bloomberg is short. And Paul is small and old. And appearances matter.

Still, I agree with needto -- if you're a registered Rep, please vote for Paul in the primary, if for nothing else, to send a message that people want progressive thinkers who believe the public doesn't need government to be mommy and daddy for their personal choices.

As for the election, I do think Obama will win. Romney is a loser and Bachman is a bit of a loon. And their argument with Obama is the wrong one. The problem isn't that he's non conformist socialistic progressive. The problem is that he isn't.

If the American people's vote was really the determining factor in who was elected, Rick Perry may not have a shot, but since he's backed by the world's elite then I don't see how he loses.
