I've been using your 5x5 program for a little over a month and I think it's the shit. I got one problem though. I am a fan of dumbell bench presses. Therefore I have been going up in 10lb incraments each week. Tonight I rested 3 min before my last set of 5 instead of the 2 min I normally take and just barely nailed my last rep. I don't know that I'll get all 5 sets next week. Shoild I switch to barbell bench presses so I can go up in the recomended 5lb incraments?
And one more for ya - My arms suck, just barely over 16'. I have been doing 5x5 and only 2 working sets. My poundages for the 5 sets of 5 has gone up each week this way. Is it kosher to stick with only the 2 working sets?
