thanks guys p. s I am 37 year old male

30 lbs in 4 weeks..... thats going to be rough... all i can say is diet very very clean, cardio 2 times a day. once in the AM before breakfast, workout afternoon and cardio after last meal before bed... you need to be taking a few (illegal) supplements to help that weight come off. i would get some clen and T3. if u dont/ can't do the illegal thing.. then i dont know if its possible to reach your goal..

First off, you obviously dont have the experience/knowledge with training/dieting, so there's no way in the world ANYBODY should tell you to do any ILLEGAL gear. That is pure ignorance.(uhhh---no offense sweed). You do need to weight train, but cardio and diet are going to be the biggest factors. Do HIIT cardio 6-7days/week for 45-60min each x 2a day. I think it will be possible, just not very healthy, and you'll have to be very disciplined, which going from one extreme(being able to eat/drink anything) to eating/drinking a very limited selection will be your biggest battle. Try eating 1500-2000cals a day. Drink nothing but water. Do some research on your diet and post it.

weight training yes... you'll be burning some more calories doing it. Im guessing you basal metabolic rate (BMR) is around 2400-2500 calories, so you should be taking in less that that during the day... i was really kinda starving myself and prob taking in like 1600-1800 cals a day... i really got strict about carb intake.. but you need the carbs.. not that many and use LOW GI carbs.. brown rice , oats , etc. and dont count out the fats also... but sure to take flax / fish oil, nuts.

sweed speaks the truth, but maybe in the last 2 weeks, try a ketonic diet(no carbs) and the last week try water minipulation techniques. All these suggest will hardly burn muscle, but you will drop alot of water, which may get you to your goal. Assuming you do make the weight, i do realize you will gain it all back.

Initially, you will gain, especially if you cut your carbs way down and water deplete, due to the added carbs and water after this diet. But keep it to a minimum by formulating a sound diet and congrats on the lifestyle change.

honestly bro this is a career and anyone interested in LE should take it alot more serious then giving themselves 4 weeks to get in shape. why not drop out this time and get in great shape and go through say a year from now.

my bet is even if you drop the weight ,police college/acadamey if your a yank) will eat you alive because there is no way your in good cardio health at that weight/bf%

good luck with the job though if you do make the cut,Im going in LE very soon myself

Honestly Oak01,
thanks for your input -but the rest of the story is that i already dropped 46 lbs do to major cardio and a decent diet over the last 10 months .my letter just came for the physical checkup -came faster than i thought.
good luck to you and your job -but honestly i dont need a lecture about my
career -and how i go about trying to pay my bills and provide for family !!I am making a life change and i need positive influences in my life if you can help thanks if not good luck to you and your le career .HONESTLY have you seen some of those fatass men and woman who call themselves police officers how serious are they taking there caeers .I am sure that wont be you -and i hope and pray it wont be me either !!
good luck
thanks for the feedback guys !!!!

stageguy,
it will be harder to do if you actually have been dropping weight for a while and doing well. a good chunk of the 30 pounds should be water weight so if you have not been retaining a lot of water previously, I am skeptical about it even being possible without some liposuction.

But being that if you are trying you will definately need to be doing some major cardio work and some t-rex may very well help you out there.

what is t-rex?

Saw of an arm bro. Its the only way to loose that much weight that quickly. Trust me. Just dont saw off your gun hand! :)

You could prob. drop 8-10 pounds in a week on a hardcore cut, but then it will level of.....15-20 is realistic at your size........you'd be fing miserable though.

how good is this stuff ?
better tthen clem?

Have you taken Clen before?

I think it's a person to person thing but I will say that T-rex is great stuff.

Personally I hate clen - does nothing for me but give me mind numbing headache.

What was your diet during the 46lbs loss?
And your cardio?

i think the first 20 should be not that hard but the last 10 would be the hard part. IT can be done. I have cut 10lbs in 2 days for wrestling before. So i know weight like that can be but at last minute. Just expect to pack alot of h2o weight back on again after the physical

You're probably better off trying to grow 2" taller than loosing the weight.

How well outlined are the "Height/Weight-ration Guidlines"?

I would think you can do it if you are very strict about your diet and workout routine. I dropped 20lbs in a month Nov. to Dec 2004 but again I was very strict. Took in 1500 cal a day, lots of protein ;) , weight trained 3 days a week and cardio 2 days a week (I am a lazy ass and would rather cut cals than spend 7 days a week doing cardio). At that time I did not use anything but fish oil pills and vitamins, however, now I have kicked it up a notch with some clen. Good luck man you have a hell of a goal but I think you can do it.

Lots of cardio, lots of green tea, and some sort of "fat-burner" supplement would definately help. Don't forget the green tea!!

Thant's all I can say :p
