understood . and agreed. the only concept that behooves me would be why the use of pro-hormones which copy pharmaceutical grade;if you have the availabilty to get pharmaceutical grade?
Neither one are necessarily "natural" however, in the case of script testosterone, its chemical makeup, with the exception of the ester, is the same as your natural testosterone.
Im more generally referring to everyone and their brother running to the doc for a shot or a pill to fix something that could be fixed by more natural means. For example lets use A-dex, script med for stoping the production or estrogen via aramatase....hows that working for ya???
Another good example would be the hundreds of thousands of people with high BP who flock to the docs every year to get put on prescription meds because they cant be bothered to get their fat asses off the couch or change their diet to control BP naturally. The same holds true for high cholesterol and a whole slew of other common ailments.
People eat like crap, dont exercise and even if they do and something goes wrong they turn right to the medical community, most of which know little to nothing about nutrition.
Its estimated that over 50% of the population is 1st world nations are NOT getting the recommended dose of magnesium. Heck even if you do eat well and exercise its estimated the percentage of atheltic people deficient is even higher! Magnesium is involved in just about every bodily process and associated in some way with a huge number of ailments and diseases and there are hundreds of studies to back this up yet when is the last time your doc asked for an RBC magnesium test to make sure you were safe?
So, why dont docs prescribe DIM, calcium D-glucarate, phytoesterogens etc etc? By and large there is no money in it. Drugs can be patented but not natural ingredients, no money in it.
Also keep in mind I am not saying natural always works ideally, the best or the fastest. Im simply stating dont always look for a fix in the docs office.
