Ive been debating buying some accutane for a while now. Ance had gotten better with doxycycline, but now is becoming worse. I am starting my cycle soon, and am dreading coming off in the spring, as it is a great time to lie out on campus and get some sun. So, that being said, I was wondering what kind of experience you have had with accutane. I know it is harsh and rarely prescribed, but my acne has become an issue. I am proud of my body, I have workde very hard for it, but am embarrassed to take my shirt off. Any help that you guys can provide woudl be great, as well as the site that sells it, ive forgotten the labs name. Thanks.

I don't know how bad your acne is so this may not be an option, but I went to a natural health doctor for mild facial acne. I had previously spent hundreds on doc visits, Tazorac, doxycycline etc. The natural doc tells me to take 100,000 IU's every day of vitamin A for 30 days. I had noticeable results in 1 week. Large quanities (up to 2,000 to 5,000 a day) of Vitamin B5, AKA Pantothenic Acid have also been known to do wonders for acne.

Accutane is a derivitave of Vitamin A so there is obviously some correlation between the two. It may be worth a shot if you could possibly avoid the extreme negative side effects of Accutane.

Im a huge fan of accutane. Best thing there is IMO to fight acne. I never had any sides except for some dry lips. I highly recommend it.

My wife has personal experience with accutane. A couple things to note. It is VERY VERY hard on the liver. DON'T buy it from a source and treat yourself. Go to a dermatologist. He/she should require regular bloodwork during the course of treatment, my wife's dermatologist insisted on it.

FYI- trial lawyers have been advertising accutane lawsuits here in the Dallas, Tx area for sometime. They are doing that for a reason ! The stuff works but it's not without risk. Keep in mind that a person may not "feel" any side effects but brother they can be there internally unknown to you.

Actually, before you consider accutane, we would strongly reccomend that you go to a good dermatologist. They will make sure you get the assistance you need. They will solve the acne problem either way

If you can try some Bactrim first, Ive been using it for about a month and its the first thing that completely cleared up my Acne!

well im sure you guys already know and but just for the record i go tan every other night and my acne has virtually dissapeared even on cycle, this is comeing from a person pron to acne problems on my back and sholders

vitamin b and tanning once a week clears up my shoulder acne..best method for me...tried accutane..to costly to use on your back...face is ok..but again tanning will clear it all up...shower twice a day and use noxema on your face...

Have you ever tried laying in a tanning bed....if I don't I brake out and if I do the rays dry out the skin on my back and the result is no acne...its that simple. Not to mention you look tan ladies.

boston, whats Bactrim?

thanks for all the help

b5.... you can get great information on it from www.b5supplements.com. I had red welt like things on my back. Fucking nasty... wouldn't go away. I had never had acne my whole life either. B5 took about a month to start clearing it. Two months to totally clear it. I take it year round. I love the stuff and would recomend it to anyone!

thanks again for all the help. I have some b5 so i think ill try that for a while and see how it goes. Maybe try to pick up tanning again. Again thanks
