thanks to everyone who looks at this and gives some advice or help.

most of everyone knows me but i'll put some stats down for both me and my wife Trinity73, we are fixing to get our first bench shirts, so we need some help.

Exodus:
22years old. 6 years lifting experience. 3 years was high school for wrestling. 2 years was bodybuilding, 1 year powerlifting. here are my numbers. all numbers are raw except for knee wraps, and a belt, and wrist wraps on bench.
Squat: 455.
Bench: 315
Deadlift: 425
bodyweight: 281
height : 5'10
bodyfat: 22-23%
i have long arms, at least a 6 foot span, but shorter legs,.

Trinty: 24 years old. 1 year lifting experience. 6 months bodybuildin, 6 months powerlifting. lifts were done using same equipment as me.
Squat: 155
Bench: 80
deadlift: 185
bodyweight: 131
bodyfat: 18-19%
pretty much long arms as well.

im wanting to get a Karin's Double Denim. The more i have looked into it, the more i want that shirt. now some people say that you need to use a poly first to get used to the way shirts work. others say that poly's and denim's are so much differnt, that it may be better to just start off with denim, that way you dont have to relearn how to use the shirt after you get used to the poly. what do you all think.

for my wife, im thinking that a double poly would be good. maybe im wrong, i just dont see her advanced enough to get a denim shirt, maybe im wrong, but thats why im asking you guys for your help.

Thanks everyone. oh , one more thing. i will get an open back, do you recomend the same for a double poly for Trinity73.

If you intend to compete where denim is allowed, go right to the denim. Poly shirts are a pain in the ass. If I had known how easy a denim is to get on and off, and much better it works, I would never have used a poly.

Same thing goes for your wife. There is really no reason to "step up" through shirts to master them. That whole thing came about because Inzer markets their shirts that way. Buy one, start here, then move up, so you buy 5 shirts instead of getting the one you really wanted in the first place.

I highly recommend Karin's, that is what I use. If you need some help getting the shirt figured out after you get it, let me know. You can email me at [email protected]

thanks for the advice. do you have any recommendations on how what to give for measurements for. do karin's fit odd in certain places, etc etc.

karins has like 9 different measurements. if you dont screw up the measurements (like i did), the shirt will fit perfectly, even if one arm is longer than the other an dyou're missing a pec and a lat or something
