well.. my mother is a dermatologist.. and i know that doesn't make me an expert, but i think it is fair to assume that through the years i have picked up some pretty good skincare advise. i hope you read this and follow what i have to tell you.. i think i can be of some great help to you.
first, i think everyone is right by saying that your acne is caused by a hormonal change, your best remedy for this is going to be time.
now, obviously body acne, or any acne for that matter is not very attractive and you will want it to go away as soon as possible. here are some pointers that you should follow
first.. i saw in your post that u said u shower and washed 2-3 times a day and scrubbed. that is no good, all that will do is irritate the fuck out of the infected areas and just make it worse. 1 shower will suffice, 2 at the most. when washing.. u want to use a cloth of a loufa and very lightly go over the surface of your skin. very lightly.. just enough to exfoliate and get the dirt and dead skin off to open up the pours. if u can.. try to take your shower, or showers directly after you workout, or before you go to bed.
second.. you need to look at the soap you are using. what will work best is an all natural soap that is made for access oil control.. if u cannot find that then you will want to use plain old antibacterial soap. at all costs.. u do not want to use any type of soap or body wash that is scented, those will clean you yes.. but all the moisturizers they leave behind will clog your pours making the problem worse. also.. you can try the body washes with salylic acid or other acne medication, but a lot of the time with body acne.. it will get much worse before it gets better. those can also dry out your skin
don't use any type of lotion.. that will clog your pours, again making the problem worse.
third.. this one is very simple. sleep with no shirt on, let your skin and cells breathe. to go along with that.. any time you can have your shirt off it well help.
4th.. my mom will greatly disagree with this one, but you can also visit your local tanning salon. that usually seems to help dry out the sits, and the darker your skin is the harder the spots are to see.
i hope that helps.. again. your best remedy is going to be time. acne is a part of steroid use, and hopefully the info i gave you can help u control it.
1 more quick thing.. if u considered using accutane, or if any of you are going to suggest accutane, smack your self in the face. horrible idea
