I am 28 yrs old, lifetime steroid free, and have been diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism. Here are my levels.
TEST = 99 and 202 (2 separate tests)
Normal= 300-1100
LH= 1.3
Normal= 2.0-9.0
FSH= 1.6
Normal= 1.4-18
My Urologist prescribed me Androgel 1% Topical. I am to take 5gm per day which equals out to about 5mg absorbed into the body. However I was not prescribed an estrogen blocker or hcg to prevent further shutdown of my LH and FSH levels. I have read some really bad experiences with Androgel, so I did some research. I have read that the best all around treatment for this condition is Injectable test to increase T levels, HCG to prevent shutdown of natural test production, an estrogen blocker, and finesteride to prevent hair loss if needed.
I called an online rejuvenation center which specializes in this situation and low and behold they recommended pretty much this exact treatment. All they need is some copies of my blood work to prove my condition, and then the physician will contact me to inform me of my options. I am just reluctant to begin such an elaborate and expensive protocol but if that is what is required I am willing to do so.
I am wondering of anyones advice and or experiences with this and/or similar situations.
PLEASE HELP!
