Need some educated advice here.....

I am 28 yrs old, lifetime steroid free, and have been diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism. Here are my levels.

TEST = 99 and 202 (2 separate tests)
Normal= 300-1100

LH= 1.3
Normal= 2.0-9.0

FSH= 1.6
Normal= 1.4-18

My Urologist prescribed me Androgel 1% Topical. I am to take 5gm per day which equals out to about 5mg absorbed into the body. However I was not prescribed an estrogen blocker or hcg to prevent further shutdown of my LH and FSH levels. I have read some really bad experiences with Androgel, so I did some research. I have read that the best all around treatment for this condition is Injectable test to increase T levels, HCG to prevent shutdown of natural test production, an estrogen blocker, and finesteride to prevent hair loss if needed.

I called an online rejuvenation center which specializes in this situation and low and behold they recommended pretty much this exact treatment. All they need is some copies of my blood work to prove my condition, and then the physician will contact me to inform me of my options. I am just reluctant to begin such an elaborate and expensive protocol but if that is what is required I am willing to do so.

I am wondering of anyones advice and or experiences with this and/or similar situations.

PLEASE HELP!

Do you want the test or not?
Androgel is like 10% absorption... I don't know what to tell you other than that, never tried it and don't want it. One dr. I went to injected me with with testopellets. That was ok. But I didn't like being cut open every 3 months and having pellets shoved into my back...
The clinics you are calling are bullshit. I have a place that handles everything for me. I even went to my normal dr. that I haven't seen in a couple of years and told him what I was doing. I was surprised how receptive he was to my theropy. Once I get my HC situation is fixed I am going to use my normal dr because he doesn't have a problem giving me a script for test, deca or armor thyroid... The big difference is the dr I am with right now just gave me a new script for 500mg cyp and 500mg of deca per week... Now I not taking. But it is out there.

Yes I jest said that I would rather follow the more recommended test/hcg/anti-e/propecia stack therapy than the Androgel, but i don't think my Dr. will take to kindly to me going in and demanding it from him. So the clinic i talked to seemed on the up and up. Anyone else think that would be a bad idea?

Just remember, your doctors works for YOU. If you don't like what advice hes giving, find another one. Thats what I did, I got a new Endo and I'm a big fan so far.
