Need some advice!!

my ex gf wrecked my car 3 weeks ago... insurance is dickin me over but they eventually totaled my truck but they aren't giving me the value of the truck so im fighting with them.. anyways.. my ex gf said she'd pay the deductible which is $500 since it was her fault.. now she's saying she's not paying all of it........... so im pretty pissed. should i just suck it up and pay it myself or take her to court for the $500?
