Need new hair style

i had been spiking it but its getting longer and need alternatives. its shorter ont he side and longer on the top, ill post up a pic later but i have thick dark brown hair, not black.

Cut short, tapered from really short on the sides (nearly buzzed), and blocked and tapered in the back. No side burns (straight across at the ears). While still wet from the shower, Brush, use Mousse or Alt by L'Oreal, and brush again straight back.

Worked well for me for at least 10 years.
